Valour Launches Bitcoin Staking ETP on London Stock Exchange Expanding Beyond Europe
19.09.2025 18:21
Valour Digital Securities, a subsidiary of DeFi Technologies (DEFT), has launched its Bitcoin (BTC) Staking Exchange-Traded Product (ETP) on the London Stock Exchange. This strategic expansion marks the product's debut outside mainland Europe, where it initially began trading on Germany's Deutsche Börse Xetra platform nearly a year ago. The 1Valour Bitcoin Physical Staking (1VBS) ETP provides professional and institutional investors with direct Bitcoin exposure plus an additional 1.4% annual staking yield. Each share is fully backed 1:1 by Bitcoin held in cold storage through Copper, with yields automatically reinvested into the net asset value (NAV). Daily NAV updates, entitlements, and indicative prices are published for transparency. Currently, access to the London-listed ETP is restricted to professional investors under UK regulations. However, starting October 8, retail investors will be permitted to access crypto exchange-traded notes (ETNs) on recognized exchanges like the LSE under FCA guidelines. Meanwhile, DeFi Technologies' shares experienced a minor decline of 3.12% to $2.63 in early Nasdaq trading.
