Monad is preparing for one of this year's most anticipated cryptocurrency launches. The Layer-1 blockchain platform has officially opened its MON token airdrop portal, allowing eligible participants to verify their status prior to the official token distribution. Although the actual airdrop hasn't commenced, users can now check eligibility and connect their digital wallets through November 3, 2025. Monad co-founder Keone Hon emphasized on social media platform X: "There is NO incentive to claiming really fast, so take your time. Triple check everything." According to the Monad Foundation's official announcement, the airdrop will target approximately 5,500 core community members and 225,000 broader cryptocurrency enthusiasts who have contributed to ecosystem growth. The distribution employs a multi-track system across five categories: Monad Community, Onchain Users, Crypto Community, Crypto Contributors & Curious, and Monad Builders. Qualified participants across multiple categories can combine their allocations, rewarding active ecosystem contributors. The verification process combines on-chain activity data including DEX trading volume and NFT ownership with off-chain verification through Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. This airdrop represents significant progress toward Monad's upcoming mainnet launch, though specific timing and token allocation details remain undisclosed.
