Gate Launches 'Gate Fun' Token Launcher on New Layer-2 Blockchain Network

Cryptocurrency exchange Gate has introduced Gate Fun, an innovative on-chain platform enabling users to create and trade tokens without any coding knowledge. Operating on Gate Layer, the company's newly launched layer-2 network built using OP Stack technology, the platform promises rapid token deployment with minimal gas fees paid in GT, the network's native cryptocurrency. Similar to popular platforms like Pump.fun, Gate Fun offers a one-click interface for customizing token parameters including name, symbol, and initial purchase options. The platform supports both Web3 wallets such as MetaMask and Gate's proprietary account system, with launched tokens becoming tradable across multiple Gate ecosystem products including Gate Alpha, Meme Go, and Swap. This launch follows the recent introduction of Gate Layer, a high-performance layer-2 rollup anchored by GateChain, which also hosts other applications like Perp for perpetual trading and Meme Go for meme token tracking. GT is currently trading at $16.23, experiencing a modest 1.9% decline over the past 24 hours.
